Job Overview

This role will involve driving a positive risk culture across our stakeholders, maintaining strong professional expertise in risk management approaches, and assessing technology, cyber, and data risks and controls. You'll also gather and analyze risk reports to identify and understand risks, manage the remediation of issues and incidents, and undertake reviews of control testing to ensure effective risk management. Additionally, you'll ensure the effective design of controls for new and changing processes through the Change Risk and Compliance Framework.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies that align with the CFS Risk Management Framework.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Communicate risk-related information to stakeholders and provide training on risk management best practices.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide input into the development of policies and procedures related to risk management.

About You

We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in technology risk management. You'll have a proven track record of success in identifying and mitigating risks, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment. You'll also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a professional certification such as PRMIA or CIA are required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in technology risk management.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, finance, computer science).
  • Professional certification such as PRMIA or CIA.
