About the Role

At The Travel Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Victoria and Tasmania sales team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue in our region.

Job Summary

This is a diverse role that combines field sales, account management, and group allotment portfolio management. You will work closely with our global sales teams to identify and book Scheduled Groups opportunities, ensuring that our Group Allocation offering is competitive and meets market needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Management: Develop and implement sales plans with key accounts, strengthen relationships through regular contact and updates, and provide training opportunities for agents.
  • Group Allotment Management: Work with global sales teams to identify and book Scheduled Groups opportunities, ensure our Group Allocation offering is competitive, and develop marketing collateral to promote our offering.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales driven role with proven results;
  • Understanding of strategy and implementation of sales and marketing plans;
  • Adaptable communication and work style to meet changing needs of stakeholders;
  • Continuous process improvement through feedback and analysis;
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills to manage intense workloads and priorities;
  • A strong customer service ethic and attention to detail;
  • The ability to work effectively in teams and communicate at all levels within the organisation;
  • An ability to construct, book, and execute complex travel itineraries;
  • Previous experience in the Travel and Tourism industry.
