IBISWorld Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales function, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across various industries.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a passion for building relationships with clients. You will be confident in your ability to research categories, identify targets, and network within industry groups. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sale from commencement through to the execution of the contract
  • Use a consultative sales approach to identify customer challenges and offer solutions that match IBISWorld's product
  • Build a solid pipeline of approximately 300+ prospects
  • Achieve and exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
Requirements
  • Ability to research categories, identify targets, and network within industry groups
  • Confidence in cold calling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years sales experience
What We Offer

We offer a competitive base salary plus generous commissions, bonuses, approved business expenses, and superannuation. The estimated total earnings potential for this role is in excess of $110,000, with uncapped commissions offering further opportunities for growth. Additionally, we provide flexible work arrangements, including the option to work from home, and a range of employee benefits such as subsided gym memberships and social events.
