Job Description:

Main Tasks:

The primary function of this role is to manage a team of account managers in the industrial chemical portfolio, supporting your staff and leading from the front. You will lead strategic growth initiatives in key sectors, leveraging global strength and local representation, manage a high-performing team, fostering long-term relationships and driving business success, develop and implement business plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and budgets, maintain strategic relationships with principals, suppliers, and key customers, seek and develop new business opportunities while managing efficient stockholding, conduct regular reviews, providing insightful reporting and forecasting, use business analysis tools, ensure compliance with company policies and values, and follow the responsible care program to improve safety, health, and environmental management continuously.

What You Must Have:

  • Extensive experience with the paints or coatings industry
  • Proven ability to manage teams, drive sales, and adapt to new requirements
  • Exceptional organisational & interpersonal skills, with adaptability for interactions at all business levels

You Will Be Highly Regarded If You Also Have:

  • Experience in new business development or a hunter mentality
  • Demonstrable success in coating, adhesive, sealant, or elastomer sales
  • Completed technical studies at an undergraduate level or above

Educational Background:

A degree in a related field would be beneficial, but not essential. What's more important is your passion for the industry, your ability to learn quickly, and your eagerness to grow with our company.
