Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Sales Officer to lead our Event Sales Team in the dynamic Real Estate Technology sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and elevating the profile of our conferences within the industry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader with experience in event sales and management, a deep understanding of the real estate and technology sectors, and a proven track record in B2B sales. Your expertise will enable us to build strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners, ultimately driving revenue growth through high-value sponsorship packages, exhibition space, and delegate registrations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate technology sector.
  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans for each real estate tech event.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, sponsors, and partners.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B event sales, preferably within the real estate tech or conference sector.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the real estate technology and proptech sectors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and data analytics.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location

The position is based in Australia, and we welcome applications from candidates who are eligible to work in the country.
