ENGIE Group, a global leader in low-carbon energy and services, is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our operations in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company, including personnel recruitment, procedures, and facilities, in accordance with the Board of Directors' guidance and the long-term business plan.

As a representative of the company, the CEO will conduct relationships with authorities, regulatory agencies, lenders, banks, and professional organizations. They will also ensure the proper execution of commercial and financial contracts, addressing any issues that may arise, in coordination with the Board of Directors.

In addition, the CEO will be responsible for arranging necessary permits and consents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They will promote a safe work culture, develop a mid-to-long-term business plan, and report on the company's health to the Board of Directors and shareholders as needed.

The CEO will have a primary statutory reporting line to the Company's Board of Directors and will interact closely with shareholders to benefit from their experience in the KSA market. They will also report within ENGIE to the appropriate function within AMEA management.

This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a proven track record in senior positions within the international power/energy sector, and experience with GCC PPA/IWP/IWPP frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in a similar position, a degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field, and a strong background in the energy sector. They should also possess relevant technological experience, such as process plant management, water production, and CCGT operation. Additionally, they should have strong negotiation, leadership, and management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and lead multicultural teams.
