Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the company's location in AU.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct leadership to engineering managers and some engineers.
  • Partner with the People team to attract and engage top talent.
  • Foster a collaborative, ambitious, and outcome-driven culture.
  • Provide continuous feedback, address underperformance, and recognize individual strengths and contributions.
  • Be responsible for high-quality and high-velocity execution of the engineering org.
  • Identify, evaluate, and optimize processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Unblock and push the team to hit deadlines.
  • Anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges and collaborate with the team to find scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate successfully with cross-functional partners.

We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Is a proven leader with 10+ years of engineering leadership experience.
  • Has a strong record of hiring and developing great talent.
  • Has experience overseeing an engineering org of 20+.
  • Is comfortable operating in a hybrid and remote work environment.
  • Has experience delivering and maintaining B2B web apps.
  • Has a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and technical mastery.
