About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Facilities Manager to join our team at our brand-new state-of-the-art Milwaukee Tool Distribution Centre located at Melbourne Airport, Tullamarine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively and safely managing our facilities, equipment, and environment, ensuring that Milwaukee operates in the safest and most cost-effective manner in line with world-class facilities management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with all stakeholders across DC operations to review current processes and instil best practice models for the control of all facilities-related touchpoints.
  • Ensure compliance with all appropriate and applicable WH&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with contractors to manage maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Coordinate proactive equipment maintenance tasks.
  • Manage insurance and landlord inspections pertaining to the building and its contents.
  • Educate team members on facilities management and build a culture aligned with company values.
  • Prepare monthly reports to provide insights into the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven background in a similar facilities management role within a large distribution centre. You should enjoy working for a fast-paced business driven by innovation and service excellence, and be able to handle multiple priorities.

You will possess outstanding people and communication skills, with a health and safety-first focus. You should also be able to work autonomously, multitask, and prioritise, with exceptional attention to detail. Building Management System experience is highly advantageous.
