Procurement Strategist

City Facilities Management is a leading provider of facilities management solutions in Australia, with a focus on delivering safe, successful and sustainable outcomes for our partners.
We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis until 31st July 2025. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and contract management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing category strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the contract lifecycle, including all activities relating to commercial service-related contracts for equipment maintenance.
- Tender Preparation and Evaluation: Prepare scope of contract, including request for tender documentation, and evaluate tenders from suppliers.
- Financial Analysis: Analyse spend by category, supplier and business unit, identify opportunities and deliver best practice focused on cost, quality and service level agreements.
- Negotiation: Effectively negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to achieve best outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering or Procurement/Supply Chain, and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in contracts management, with a focus on equipment maintenance. They will also possess strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
What We Offer:- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
- A hybrid working model, with the option to work from home two days per week.
