The Opportunity
In this role, you will work closely with our operations and finance teams to manage Capex work in progress (WIP) and monitor the aging profile of the WIP balance sheet.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing all Capex jobs in the WIP, coordinating with the Operations team for job closure and status updates.
- Preparing files for invoicing as per agreed timelines and budgets.
- Reviewing all Capex jobs for ageing and updating accordingly.
- Assisting in month-end processes as required, including accrued income assessments.
- Balancing sheet reconciliations, including analysis, investigating discrepancies, balances, and variances.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in accounting.
- Hold your Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.) – advantageous.
- Proven ability building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Advanced level of computer literacy, including advanced Excel skills, including Formulas, VLookups, and Pivot Tables.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with staff and senior management.
Salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
