About the Role

Lead Group is currently seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to join its growing team in Sydney.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts. You will also provide tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist them in monitoring their performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns
  • Providing Tax Planning and Business Advisory Services
  • Developing Strong Relationships with Clients
  • Managing the Team Training and Mentoring
  • Coordinating with Other Experts Engaged in Projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 5+ years' experience within Business Services, with strong technical skills;
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar and completed CA/CPA qualifications;
  • A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Expertise using accounting software including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools e.g., Xero, QuickBooks;
  • Work rights, Australian Citizenship, or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia;
