Strategic Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne CBD.
Role DescriptionThis is a client relationship and sales-type role, ideal for a candidate that has had previous experience in account management, inside sales or client service.
- Proactively maintain and build relationships with existing clients to ensure revenue targets are met by delivering value to our client base.
- Expand contacts beyond existing sources and develop a tailored value proposition across various areas within an organisation.
- Proactively promote product awareness while solution selling to cross-sell across your portfolio.
- Meet the training needs of clients to ensure value is received, both via conversation and training.
- Deal with incoming queries, issues and day-to-day needs of clients as they arise.
- Research and understand each client's business to identify new opportunities.
- Excellent phone and email communication skills.
- Ability to speak with clients across a variety of industries and backgrounds.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage numerous contacts.
- Confidence in negotiation, numeracy and diplomacy skills.
- A team player who can work with colleagues and other departments to achieve results.
- The ability to also work autonomously.
- An undergraduate degree.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
A competitive salary $80,000-$90,000, attractive OTE, work from home days and a great working environment.
