We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of M&A to join our client's team at Grant Executive Search.

About the Role:

  • Drive M&A strategy and identify new business opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end transaction management and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice and insights to senior leadership on business opportunities and market conditions.
  • Lead the development and implementation of M&A strategies, including the creation of new business ventures through partner selection, inorganic growth, and acquisitions.
  • Develop and negotiate commercial terms for new business opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between various departments, ensuring alignment and effective communication across the business.
  • Drive the development and delivery of business cases, presentations, and proposals that clearly articulate value propositions.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in M&A, with a strong focus on strategic thinking and leadership.
  • Experience in a top-tier investment bank is a must.
  • Proven experience in financial services, retail, and consumer.
  • A qualification in accounting, legal, or finance.
  • Exceptional relationship and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
  • End-to-end M&A transaction management and financial modelling.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
