Overview

The role will be based at our Flight Operations Centre and reports to the Operations Manager.

Salary:

A competitive salary is available for this position, estimated to be around $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and skills.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and publishing Flight Instructor and Student Rosters in compliance with aviation regulations;
  • Monitoring and reporting on crew operational status for roster preparation purposes;
  • Oversight of crew currency, training, check, and licensing requirements to ensure operational status is maintained;
  • Liaising with the Check and Training team for planning training requirements;
  • Booking ad-hoc flight, transport, and accommodation requirements as necessary;
  • Communicating roster changes to crew members;
  • Constructing and publishing Crew Tours of Duty to maximize crew utilization and efficiency;
  • Managing Flight Instructor Annual Leave rosters;
  • Providing administrative support as required, including payroll assistance;
  • Performing other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Familiarity with CASA crew duty requirements and limitations;
  • Previous experience in airline operations;
  • Experience with FlightPro software (desired);
  • Ability to interpret awards and navigate complex regulations;
  • Capacity to work in high-pressure environments with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills;
  • Adaptability to an evolving work environment.
