Be a part of a dynamic and engaging team. This high-level State Government Agency is looking for a Recovery & Support Administrator to assist with the diverse range of end-to-end administrative services. This role is responsible for providing every worker with complex injuries, the best prospects of health and functional recovery through the timely delivery of weekly payments, treatment and support payments and other administrative requirements. Based in Geelong and close to public transport this 12-week contract is open to a possible extension.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Ensure weekly payments and treatment and support reimbursements are made in appropriate and timely manner
- Provide support in the completion of relevant documents to ensure timely access to required supports and services to support an injured worker's recovery and return to work
- Proactively identify the need for additional information to process weekly payments and treatment and support needs, and seek the appropriate source to obtain needed information
- Work closely with Recovery & Support Coordinators and Advisors to ensure required appointments and bookings are in place, ensuring effective engagement with injured workers and health providers
- Complete Access to Information requests, Child Support Payments and other related administrative and payment functions required to support our injured workers
- Ability to provide team with the current status of claims on matters including payments, approvals and schedules
- Ability to identify and escalate complex issues relating to legislation and policy with the Claims Specialists
- Adhere to all policies and procedures and any legislative requirements relevant to this position
- Any other reasonable and related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs
**Job Requirements**:
- At least 12 months experience in Administration
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, written and verbally, with all levels of internal staff
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and strong computer skills
- Experience with either Novus, Tempus or Acction is highly advantageous
- Workers Comp experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Good initiative when responding to challenges in a pressured and changing environment
- Effective problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail
- Able to exercises tact, diplomacy and discretion when required
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Must have the rights to work in Australia and be willing to undertake a Criminal History Check
