**About the Role**:
Working in Architecture and Design is highly rewarding, you get to work with creatives who love what they do and are passionate and come to work wanting to make a difference to the world around us. You will be supporting around 90 creative professionals across Australia and New Zealand in all HR functions, with the support of your local Manager and the International HQ HR team.
HR in Architecture and Design is very important as the people are the business, and you will get to see the difference you make every day working with these amazing professionals. Being a project-based industry, things are always happening and these professionals are always busy. You will be supporting them in day-to-day HR matters and ensuring that all people and culture processes run smoothly.
Being a dynamic environment, you need to be able to able work at pace, enjoy having multiple things happening whilst managing day to day interaction with people. You will love working in this industry if you love supporting people, love variety, are highly organised and able to manage multiple things at once, high attention to detail, good at managing up and keeping people on track. You need to be able to have a good sensibility, able to read what is going on in the office with people, deadlines, and overall dynamics and be able to work out what needs to be prioritised and keep things happening.

**What you will be involved in**:
**General HR Support**
- Provide advice, guidance and support to employees and leaders
- Offer guidance during formal and informal meetings.
- Provide clarity on policies, procedures, and best practices within the organisation.
- Assist in navigating leave policies, including annual, personal, and time-off accruals.
- Support in tracking and resolving performance concerns and disciplinary issues.
**Recruitment**:
- Assist in recruitment process, including job descriptions and contracts.
- Organise interviews and manage recruitment advertising.
- Advise on offers and salary bandings.
- Handle onboarding and induction.
**Performance Management & Training and Development**
- Assist in internal performance management processes
- Coordinate mentoring program and track progress.
- Support training, development, and record-keeping.
- Administer annual appraisals and mentoring.
**Payroll Administration**:
- Prepare monthly reports and collaborate with Payroll provider.
- Manage changes, new starters, leavers, and ad-hoc reports.
- Coordinate with Studio Manager and Finance for payroll approval.
- Assist staff with timesheets
**Other areas**:
- Visas and sponsorships, international transfers etc
- Provide day-to-day assistance to Directors and Studio Manager
- Assistance in managing Inbox and Calendar for leader, especially for HR matters
- Participate in Global HR meetings.
- Research HR topics and engage in HR support function development.
- Contribute to group workshops when needed.
**About you**:
Ideally you have prior experience working in a professional fast pace environment. You may have been a EA/PA who is used to supporting people, getting things done and organising things. Whilst this is a HR role, it is a role that required getting things done, keeping things moving, making things happen and thinking ahead whilst there is a lot happening around you.
