**ABOUT US**

The Network Design & Integration team at the Department of Transport delivers transport priorities through the delivery of an integrated pipeline of projects and support the Major Transport Infrastructure Program.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Full time traineeship at the Department of Transport and Planning - Melbourne CBD.
- Work within a supportive environment in the Network Design & Integration team
- Support from an AFL Sports Ready Field Officer and First Nations Mentor throughout your traineeship.
- Fully funded qualification: Certificate III in Business.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide administrative support across the team including arranging meetings, data entry, reporting and other tasks required.
- Follow agreed processes and policies whilst using corporate systems to meet operational needs.
- Provide support to the Office of the Deputy Secretary and other areas across Network Design & Integration.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Potential to develop and maintain positive relationships
- Ability to work in a team and show initiative.
- Ability to learn to prepare basic reports and develop organisational skills.
- An understanding of basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.

**SALARY**

$21,500 - $30,000 plus 10.5% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

**MORE INFORMATION**
- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
