**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the PE & Sport Trainee, some of your duties may include:

- Assist with PE classes, setting up and helping to run activities
- Assist with administration and data entry
- Support the maintenance and auditing of sports equipment, uniform and the sports store room
- Assist with preparation of equipment for and on the day for the whole school sport carnivals e.g. athletics and swimming
- Organise the equipment for Duke of Edinburgh camps and the VET Sport & Recreation Bike Riding Camp

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong organisational skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Enjoy working with a wide range of people
- Enjoy working indoors and outdoors in a school environment
- Ability to obtain Working With Children & Police Check

**SALARY**

$21,500 - $30,000 plus 10.5% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

**MORE INFORMATION**
- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
- This position is best suited for someone who is culturally and/or linguistically diverse
