Are you passionate about human resources or safety and keen to broaden your expertise? The Recruitment People are recruiting for our client, a respected not-for-profit organisation, who are looking for a motivated individual to join their team as a **Part-Time Human Resources & Safety Coordinator**. This role offers the opportunity to work 18-24 hours per week, spread across five days, with flexibility to suit your schedule.

**About the Role**:
In this hybrid position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both human resources and safety operations. You’ll be working in a team that values initiative, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. Key responsibilities include:
- **HR Coordination**:
- Managing employee records and employment contracts using **Employment Hero**.
- Assisting with onboarding processes and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Responding to general HR queries from staff and managers supported by the People and Culture Manager.
- **Safety Support**:
- Updating and maintaining the safety management system.
- Assisting with safety reporting and compliance activities.
- **Systems & Administration**:
- Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting for both HR and safety functions.
- Supporting ongoing improvements to processes and systems.
**About You**:
- Experience in **human resources OR** **workplace health & safety** is essential. Training and development in either HR or safety, will be provided depending on your background.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to use your initiative and work independently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for listening and collaboration.
- Prior experience with **Employment Hero** or similar systems is highly regarded but not essential.
