**Responsibilities**:

- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with telecommunication service providers across Australia
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with technical decision-makers, CTOs, and senior IT leaders in target accounts
- Create and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing how our solutions address specific client challenges
- Design and propose complex technical solutions that align with clients' enterprise architecture and long-term technology strategies
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to understand client requirements and influence product roadmap
- Provide technical leadership throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial technical discovery to solution design and implementation planning
- Forecast sales pipeline and provide regular updates to senior management, including technical win/loss analysis
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape in the telecommunications sector
- Mentor junior technical sales team members and share knowledge across the organization

Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with at least 5 years in a technical pre-sales or solution architecture role
- Proven track record of designing and selling complex technical solutions to telecommunication service providers in Australia
- Deep understanding of telecommunications networks, protocols, and emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, NFV/SDN, IoT, ODA)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
- Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to create detailed solution designs and technical proposals
- Outstanding communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with major telecom vendors' technologies and integration challenges
- Familiarity with Australian telecommunications regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in technical modeling tools and techniques
- Ability to travel within Australia (up to 30% of the time)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
