About the role

Reporting to the National Account Manager, you'll support Penfolds vision to be a global luxury icon by increasing the availability and presentation of Penfolds within a portfolio of Retail Banner Groups and key On Premise venues, contributing to sustainable sales growth within Penfolds investment parameters and KPO's.

  • Sell and negotiate with retail banner groups, demonstrating financial discipline in achieving sales targets and return on investment
  • Be the voice of the customer internally to share insights and understanding
  • Optimise and expand the Penfolds portfolio within retail customer networks through reviews, NPD launches, promotional activity, and joint initiatives
  • Gain sustainable bottle and by the glass listings in key On Premise venues that align with penfolds luxury credentials
  • Provide clear direction and prioritisation to other members of the sales team to ensure a high standard of execution
  • Contribute to accurate forecasting of volume and spend, provide clear insights into customer performance to guide business

About you

We are seeking a results-driven sales professional with Wine/Alcohol/FMCG industry experience. You will have demonstrated commercial acuity, strategic business focus, and experience managing distributors and new business development.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet customer needs while operating within the company strategy
  • Background in nurturing and overseeing wholesaler relationships
  • Exceptional influencing skills and experience working with a demanding customer base
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and effectively prioritise workload
  • Formal wine training (WSET) and luxury hospitality experience would be highly regarded
