Reporting into the Head of Sales the National Account Manager is a highly visible and strategically important role with responsibility for building and maintaining strategic and mutually beneficial trade relationships with wholesalers, direct purchasers, and pharmacy banner groups.
We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager with Pharmacy channel experience who is committed to delivering a superior customer centric experience including the implementation of key programs and initiatives that differentiate and enhance Bayer’s standing in the healthcare market.

- Develop and implement comprehensive and strategic account management plans to drive value, deliver growth and maximise profitability in line with business strategy and sales targets
- Lead end to end contract negotiation, implementation and management for national and key accounts including agreement around trading terms and performance metrics
- Develop and implement joint customer business plans in line with commercial strategy
- Provide projections on quarterly basis related to wholesalers buying patterns
- Provide commercial and data-driven insights and analysis to inform strategy and decision making
- Work closely with supply chain and finance teams to manage and resolve any issues with product availability/supply challenges
- Identify opportunities for new business development and growth of existing accounts
- Be a culture creator and actively foster a culture where innovation, diverse thinking and high performance can flourish
**_ Does this sound like you?_**:
- Significant experience and success in a national or key account management role
- An applied understanding of the Australian and New Zealand pharmaceutical landscape
- Working knowledge of wholesaler business models
- Proven track record of success developing and implementing strategic account plans
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship building skills
- High energy, tenacity, resilience, and leadership attributes
