Hudson is seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2-3 Desktop Support and Device Replacement Officer to contribute to the maintenance and support of a large and complex network environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, maintain, and support ICT systems with expertise in operating systems, Microsoft 365, desktop and mobile hardware, conferencing room hardware and software, network fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN), antivirus, and scripting technologies.
  • Participate in the statewide rollout of new ICT hardware, involving travel and occasional afterhours deployments.
  • Provide expert advice, consultation, and negotiation with staff at all levels regarding the operations of Information Systems infrastructure and facilities.
  • Foster a highquality customer service culture by adhering to quality system documentation and continuously seeking improvement in work processes.
  • Contribute to effective teamwork within the Technology Services Group by collaborating with team members and assisting in the delivery of services to the department.
  • Engage in analytical and problemsolving activities for the maintenance and support of a large and complex Windows network environment.

TECHNICAL/OPERATIONAL EXPERTISE:

  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and supporting modern Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10 or 11), Microsoft 365 including Teams, desktop and mobile hardware, and conferencing room hardware and software.
  • Proven analytical experience in identifying, investigating, and solving problems during ICT device rollout activities in a large and complex environment.
  • Ability to act proactively through selfdirection and a willingness to explore new ways of working.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and experience with modern ITSM platforms, such as Service Now.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience in desktop support and device replacement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to travel and participate in afterhours deployments.
