Officer – Customer Relations
With one of our team proceeding on retirement we have a rare opportunity to join the team in our RetireAustralia Contact Centre

  • Previous Contact Centre experience essential - Inbound and Outbound calls
  • Working on a rotating roster across the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
  • Preferred location is Brisbane but we will look at applications from the other States where we operate – NSW and SA
  • Fully remote position with occasional requirement to attend Brisbane office or RA villages for training and coaching

About the role

Reporting to the Contact Centre Team Leader you will be working closely with our Sales Managers and Sales consultants as well as our Marketing Team and Village Managers, you will

  • Provide a warm, caring and valuable experience for enquiring customers
  • Provide advice, answer questions and actively promote the RetireAustralia values in all customer correspondence, written and verbal
  • Improve the conversion of enquiry to sales appointment through the quality of your service
  • Assist the marketing and sales teams with taking booking for promotional events at villages
  • Work closely with the broader business to ensure your company, village and development knowledge is up to date

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a contact centre environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of the retirement and care sector is preferred
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and provide resolution to client complaints
  • Understanding of marketing segments and ability to apply this knowledge to lead nurturing
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce is highly regarded
  • Highly developed visual, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in word processing, spread sheeting, database applications and basic financial systems
  • Integrity, discretion and tact with respect to confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst remaining flexible and responsive to change
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
