Job Title: Technical Sales Executive (Residential Construction)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities as per targets.
  • Promote and sell the products working with a variety of stakeholders
  • Collaborate with finance brokers, land developers, council and shire, drafting and design team and construction estimators to devise tailored residential home solutions to suit individual client needs and circumstances.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and provide cost and time estimates to prospective clients.
  • Act as project coordinator and central point of contact to ensure a timely and financially viable build from preliminary agreement stage till construction stage.
  • Liaise with panel builders and building inspectors to ensure that project timeframes and NCC quality standards are adhered to.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company guidelines/policies
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
  • Attend industry events and client meetings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity using CRM tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Sales and Marketing or Architecture and construction are preferred but not essential if you are experienced.
  • Solid understanding of Sales processes, finance and lending criteria and end to end construction process.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret construction drawings, R Codes, Restrictive Covenants and Structural development plans.
  • Knowledge of land settlement process is a plus but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Knowledge of construction methods such as double brick, brick veneer and steel frame is a plus.
