About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Banking & Finance team, focusing on mortgage discharges and property consent matters. This role is integral to supporting our clients and lawyers in delivering timely and accurate outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process mortgage discharge matters and property consent matters, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and high attention to detail
  • Apply knowledge of Land Titles Office and Land Registry procedures Australia-wide
  • Handle PEXA workspaces and invitations
  • Handle paper property settlements
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders and other external and internal stakeholders
  • Organise and prioritise workload to meet competing demands
  • Attend to invoices and account queries

About You

  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Land Titles Office and Land Registry procedures across Australia
  • Experience with residential and commercial property settlements
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
