As Royal Freemasons continues to make a positive difference to the lives of older people across Victoria, the organisation seeks to appoint a dynamic and customer-oriented leader to join the organisation as an Accounts Receivable Officer.

**The role**

The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and reporting of all accounts receivable and ensuring payments are received and correctly recorded.

**Key responsibilities**

The Accounts Receivable Officer will be required to deliver a high standard of work, possess a strong attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in a dynamic working environment.

Your main duties will include:

- Actively managing debtors, with a focus on the reduction of outstanding debts and including managing account enquires
- Accurate and timely processing of client accounts, including billing of fees and charges, receipting, direct debits administration, reconciliations and the production of statements.
- Reconciling discharged client’s account, refund RAD/debtor balance, produce discharge letters, and maintain the Bond Register up to date
- Preparation of customer exit/discharge calculation & courtesy letters (Residential and ILU)
- Close monitoring of receivables reports to minimise overdue accounts and proactively following up collections.

**Knowledge and experience**
- 2 -3 years recent experience in the administration of Accounts Receivable end to end
- Experience within the home care, disability or aged care services or health care sectors is highly desirable
- High level attention to detail, friendly and professional phone manner, and strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel), including intermediate excel skills (as a minimum)
- Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to prioritise conflicting tasks through effective time management
