**About the role**:

We are looking for a Paralegal with experience in practice management to join our client’s brand-new team.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Practice/office administration and management;
- File administration tasks including setting up new matters;
- Draft documents and managing PEXA transactions;
- Liaise with clients, counterparties and self-represented litigants;
- Draft correspondence, documents and agreements;
- Attend to court filings in all Australian jurisdictions;
- Track matters, create reports and provide updates to the Principal and client;
- Diary management and ensuring time sensitive tasks are attended to;
- Other general duties as required.

**About you**:

- You have 3-5 years of experience as a Paralegal or similar;
- You have experience managing people;
- You are highly organised, with impeccable attention to detail and have excellent communication skills
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- You have experience in generating responsive and time reports;
- You are comfortable with high-volume work;
- You can quickly build rapport with people from all walks of life;
- You are tech savvy and innovative;
- You see a challenge as an opportunity and are solutions-oriented;
- Experience in a Legal Assistant or administration / business support position within law, financial services or professional services industry;
- You’re a team player and highly adaptable
- Familiarity with with practice management systems such as LEAP and Actionstep as well as PEXA, is preferable.
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including all Office 365 apps
