**What You Will Be Doing**

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Grade 2 Dietitian to join the dynamic and experienced Dietetic team at Peninsula Health. This Grade 2 Dietitian position based at The Mornington Centre works with the interdisciplinary team to deliver dietetic services to inpatients under a Geriatric Evaluation Management model of care.
Grade 2 Dietitians have a leadership role through departmental representation, quality and research activities and involvement in student and staff supervision. Approximately 70-80% of this fulltime position is allocated for management of the clinical caseload.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide dietetic assessment, and discharge planning for patients utilising a patient and family centred approach.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the other Dietetic staff, including Grade 1 Dietitians to ensure a best practice approach to patient care.
- Actively engage in clinical supervision.
- Actively participate in the Department’s Quality Improvement program

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Member, or eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia.
- Member, or eligible for membership of the Accredited Practicing Dietitian Program.
- Demonstrated participation in Professional Development.
- Capability to supervise and mentor students, Grade 1 staff and promote professional competence.
- Ability to exhibit a degree of flexibility & time management with regard to work load.
