Lead high-profile electrical projects with a respected manufacturer in Brisbane

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established engineering team specialising in the design, manufacture, and delivery of electrical switchboard projects. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone with proven project management experience and a strong background in electrical or industrial projects.

You'll be working with a leading manufacturer based in Meadowbrook, QLD, known for delivering high-quality electrical solutions across infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects. With a commitment to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement, they are recognised for building lasting client partnerships and maintaining high technical standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Planning, coordinating, and delivering electrical switchboard projects to scope, time, and budget
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and leading project meetings
  • Overseeing compliance with WHS, AS/NZS 61439, and company IMS standards
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, variations, and reporting requirements
  • Driving quality assurance through testing, inspections, and handover documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement and lessons learned across project delivery

What do you need?

  • Experience in switchboard manufacturing or infrastructure projects (must have)
  • Proven experience managing electrical or industrial projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Understanding of WHS obligations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools
  • Ability to work and manage with others as part of a team
  • Ability to motivate and support staff across project delivery
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong accuracy, organisational, and computer literacy skills
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures while working unsupervised
  • Electrical trade or engineering background (desirable)
