Devlyn Construction is privately owned and has been established in Western Australia for over 30 years. We are a leading commercial contractor that specialises in delivering projects across a range of sectors in WA's metropolitan and regional locations.

THE ROLE

As a Contracts Administrator with Devlyn you will work closely with the Project Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively with the project team, internal stakeholders, subcontractors, clients, and consultants;
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages;
  • Procurement of subcontractors and supplies;
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with subcontractors, ensuring all contractual obligations are maintained and administered;
  • Coordinate the review and timely approval of payment claims submitted by subcontractors;
  • Review and undertake the assessment of subcontractor variations in conjunction with the construction team;
  • Implementation of forecasting and cost control processes / strategy;
  • Produce timely and accurate cost analysis to understand the basis of any variances to the project forecast and budget;
  • Actively build strong relationships with key stakeholders and manage ongoing communication throughout the build;
  • Responsible for project document control, O&M Manuals and communications - inclusive of regular reporting and meetings.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful with Devlyn, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in commercial construction;
  • Experience with Procore (advantageous);
  • Experience with Coins (advantageous);
  • Strong contractual knowledge;
  • Demonstrated ability in working to strict timeframes;
  • Experience in the analysis and interpretation of tender plans and documents;
  • Have good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; and
  • Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
