The Opportunity

As our business continues to grow, we're seeking a proactive and detail-driven Project Administrator to join our team in Canning Vale. This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a keen interest in supporting project delivery in the construction and steel fabrication industry.

You'll play an essential role in ensuring projects run smoothly by supporting our project managers, coordinating documentation, managing compliance requirements, and maintaining efficient systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support across all stages of project delivery.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress against budgets and timelines.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including WHSEQ and OHSE submissions.
  • Manage project tracking software (time, costs, reporting).
  • Coordinate procurement activities, including purchase orders and supplier communication.
  • Support contract administration and client invoicing.
  • Assist with risk management processes and compliance reporting.
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project administration systems and processes.
About You
  • Qualification or relevant experience in Administration, Project Management, Building, or Steel Fabrication.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in construction or steel fabrication administration.
  • Strong background in contract administration and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using project management software.
  • A practical understanding of construction trades and subcontractor coordination (desirable).
