Our client, a front runner in sustainable technologies, end to end solutions and services for the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining are currently seeking an experience order planner to join their team on a permanent basis in their Canning Vale facility.

**About the role**

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Visualizes and maintains the top-level order milestone schedule as planned and is milestone process leader.
- Maintains order lead-time as planned.
- Provides order related costs, capacity, and lead-time to the offer.
- Issues material demand requisitions according to schedule and inventory.
- Continuously follow-up, analyse and take actions to reach KPIs, targets and milestones.
- Manage enquiries regarding complex order quotes such as larger enquiries, bill of materials, price, delivery time, as well as product offers.
- Align with internal departments to fully understand their requirements, to form strong stakeholder relationships, and to supply procurement support.
- Support business line strategies, requirements and proactively drive initiatives to meet OTD and other relevant objectives.
- Ensure that the Company’s vision and strategies are communicated and understood by team members.
- Ensure compliance according to Internal and External policies, laws, and regulations.
- Interface with Sales managers and Account Managers as required.
- Implement LEAN methodology in Order management area.

**Essential Skills & Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years Order management in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Strong understanding of business functions including supply chain, sales, projects, contracts, engineering, finance, services and legal.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer focus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) & SAP.
- Enjoys working in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Desirable)
- SAP SCM experience (Desirable)
