Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a confident, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our vibrant front-of-house team at Scope Radiology. This pivotal role supports both patients and clinical staff, ensuring a seamless experience and efficient operations within our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Manage appointment bookings via phone and digital systems
  • Accurately process patient registrations, referrals, and consents
  • Liaise effectively with radiologists, technicians, and referring clinicians
  • Handle billing, Medicare claims, and private health fund interactions with precision
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of patient records
  • Uphold a clean, welcoming, and organized reception and waiting area

Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to possess:

  • Previous experience in a radiology environment is essential
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational capability
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Familiarity with medical software systems (PACS, HeathTrack, etc.) is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of Medicare and health fund billing processes
  • A professional, empathetic, and patient-focused demeanour
