**Melton South Medical Clinic** is seeking an experienced **Receptionist **to join the clinical team on a part-time basis.

**About you
- Receptionist**

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and welcoming demeanour.
- Efficiently manage the front desk, including scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and managing phone calls.
- Verify and update patient information, insurance details, and medical records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the waiting area.
- Coordinate with medical staff and nurses to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software and electronic medical records systems.
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- **Ability to use a Best practice**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
