**About us**

We are a new practice led by a highly respected Neurosurgeon who is now embarking on the exciting journey of setting up their own practice. To describe our Surgeon as delightful and approachable would be an understatement. In this role, you will work closely with our Practice Manager and Surgeon to help build a cohesive team that strives for excellence in everything we do.

**About you**
- Experience using **Xestro/Gentu** (or similar medical software programs), or an ability to learn software quickly
- IT savviness and able to troubleshoot
- Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly manner and can-do attitude
- Experience at a Medical practice
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Ability to work independently with initiative and love being part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task in a busy environment
- Pride themselves on their attention to detail skills - and genuinely want to make a difference in our patients' lives
- A genuine desire to be trained and upskilled to assist our practice
- Ability to cover leave (with notice)
- Managing inbox and triaging as required

**Responsibilities will include**
- Welcoming patients into the practice in an efficient, friendly and courteous manner
- Managing consulting sessions along with consulting billing and uploading reports/scans etc for each patient
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Collecting and entering patient details, patient surveys and administration services (training provided if needed)
- Answering phone calls and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Performing general administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, mail sorting, filing and follow-up patient inquiries
- Patient Consulting billing and processing of payments (training provided if needed)
- Supporting and assisting the Surgeon and fellow administrative staff in a range of administration and ad-hoc tasks.

**Hours/Days**
- Monday 8:00am till 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Tuesday 8:00am till 12:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00am till 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)

**Pay rate**:
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour plus super (depending on skillset and experience)
