Accounts Receivable / Payroll Administrator – Melbourne

About the role:

Due to continued growth, Keece is on the lookout for a sharp and organised Accounts Receivable / Payroll Administrator to join our accounts crew. You'll play a big part in keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes, making sure billing, payroll, and financial records are spot on, compliant, and running smoothly, all with that trademark Keece energy.

As the Accounts Receivable / Payroll Administrator, you will work closely with our accounts and operations teams to ensure invoices, payments, and payroll are processed efficiently.

Your day might include reconciling accounts, managing the companies incoming payments, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, preparing and processing payroll across multiple business units. You'll help keep our cash flow healthy, records accurate, and compliance on track across Australia and New Zealand.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Receiving and allocating remittances.
  • Managing retentions, including bank guarantees and cash retentions
  • Ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices
  • Preparing and processing payroll across multiple business units
  • Adhoc Admin duties

About you:

  • Payroll experience is essential, particularly with union payrolls.
  • Experience in accounts receivable or similar finance administrative roles is highly regarded.
  • Understands unionised environments, EBAs, and award interpretation.
  • Has strong Excel and accounting system skills, experience with MYOB would be advantageous
  • Is proactive, trustworthy, and comfortable managing deadlines
  • Enjoys contributing to a supportive, values-driven team
