Meet Bunjie
Not your average Australian baby care brand, Bunjie is flipping the script on baby care globally and is growing faster than you can drink your coffee
Bunjie is a global first-to-market range of microbiome baby care products to deliver patented prebiotic and probiotic innovation. Bunjie has established a leadership position in Australian retail with a premium positioning, innovative pipeline, and disruptive marketing. Mintel named us one of the 'most innovative baby product launches globally' (a first for an Australian baby skincare brand) and we couldn't be happier that we're making a difference for every parent on the planet and their fun size humans
You'll find us proudly on the shelf in Coles, Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline and many more, or turning heads in the online world. We're also super excited to have crossed the ocean with recent launches into New Zealand and UAE and more to come.
We're reimagining the world of baby care and having plenty of fun and we'd love YOU to be a part of it
About the Role
We're a fast-growing brand with big ambitions (and a lot of heart) We're now looking for a Management Accountant who's ready to roll up their sleeves, get close to the numbers and help shape the next chapter of our growth story. This role gets you in the thick of it, helping to drive financial excellence across our whole business.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work side by side with our CFO and the wider team, playing a key role in supporting financial operations - from day-to-day transactions to big-picture insights. You'll:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Operations to bring the numbers to life
- Take charge of Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Reconcile supplier accounts, process invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Keep our valued supplier and customer relationships strong with clear, accurate comms
- Work with our retail and distribution partners on invoicing, claims and payments
- Prepare weekly payment runs, monthly payroll and daily bank reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow, credit cards and debt obligations - keeping us on track and confident
- Support month-end close, including journals and management reports
- Prepare sales and performance reports that tell the real story behind the numbers
- Keep our ledgers accurate and in great shape - every transaction tells a true store
Who We're Looking For
Not only are you the kind of person who loves making sense of numbers and keeping things running smoothly, but you do it with energy, curiosity and a team-first mindset.
- Experience that counts:
years in a similar accounting / finance role (FMCG a bonus) Degree in Accounting/Finance. CA/CPA on the way? Even better. - Numbers:
Month-end, invoicing, payables/receivables – you've handled it all. Inventory experience a big plus - Data:
Strong Excel skills. Love turning spreadsheets into insights that actually make a difference - Organised and adaptable:
Juggle priorities like a pro in a fast-moving, high-energy environment - Problem solver:
Spot issues, fix them and make processes smarter along the way - Team player:
You communicate clearly, collaborate effortlessly and keep everyone in the loop
Above all, you're reliable, proactive and motivated by shared goals. You take pride in your work, enjoy contributing to something bigger AND love being part of a team that genuinely cares about what they do (and how they do it).
Our Offer to you
This is a full-time, perm role based at our Bunjie HQ in Cremorne. If you're ready to bring your energy, curiosity and skills to our high-growth adventure, here's what's in store for you:
- Competitive salary package
– we value your experience and expertise - Passionate, people-first culture
– work with a team that loves what they do - Supportive networks
– you'll never be doing it alone - Beautiful new office in Cremorne
– a space designed to inspire - Health and wellness benefits
– because we care about your wellbeing - Flexible work arrangements
– balance your work and life with ease - A dynamic, collaborative team
– learn, grow, and make an impact together
And most of all, enjoy the experience of working for a thriving Australian made and owned business on a huge growth trajectory
Interested? We'd love to hear from you.
