About us
DWL Machinery is one of Australia's most reputable dealers of New and Second-hand Machinery. From small and humble beginnings, the Director began this business and operated with only himself and one other assistant for a number of years. Today the business holds over 30 employees, varying from Mechanics, Painters, Trade Assistants, Accounts and Sales, just to name a select few. The business is only continuing to expand not only internally, but through other subsidiaries and ultimately will provide exciting opportunities to progress within the company as the years progress.
Our company possesses over 40 years of experience in the field, which is reflected in our workmanship and ultimately our customers satisfaction.
DWL Machinery has recently been appointed the dealer for Develon (Formally Doosan) Construction Equipment and will soon be expanding to the Illawarra and ACT.
About the role
As the Territory Sales Manager for Develon Compact Equipment at DWL Machinery (AUS) Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales growth and expanding its presence in the compact equipment market across your designated territory. This full-time position is based in Sydney NSW.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies to grow market share in your territory
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including
- Providing technical expertise and product demonstrations to customers
- Collaborating with the marketing team to create engaging sales collateral and campaigns
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and adapt sales tactics accordingly
- Accurately forecasting sales and achieving individual and team sales targets
- Providing feedback to the product management team to support continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role within the machinery/equipment industry, preferably in the capital sales segment
- Experience in the Earthmoving, Civil and building Industry would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close sales
- Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Willingness to travel within your designated territory as required
