They are seeking a dynamic individual for a Sales Representative role to manage a defined territory and build market share.

Role

The role reports to the Sales Manager and carries responsibility for all sales activities related to growing market share in your territory. It combines new business development through activities such as cold calling and networking, with exemplary account management of existing clients that results in ongoing growth for that sector.

Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a confident, energetic person with the ability and energy to take a well-regarded company's offering to market and succeed. You will be motivated by high performance and a strong desire to achieve targets that is reflected in your past sales results. Your talents will include empathy and a strategic approach that enables you to recognise, develop and close a sales opportunity.

Ideally applicants will have a successful background selling in the FMCG space, or in a similar fast paced business sector. That background will have equipped you with well-developed interpersonal skills that enable you to relate well to a range of people at all levels

Other personal attributes essential for success in the role include:

· Minimum 1-2 years of FMCG sales experience required

· Australian citizenship required

· Full Australian driver's licence required

· Ability to cover Greater Sydney territory

· Excellent personal presentation

· The ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision

· A team player attitude, sharing information and assisting others to achieve common objectives
