The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Site-Based Commercial Administrator to support our major construction projects. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth site operations and ensuring accurate and timely administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collation of timesheets and labour control for reporting
  • Managing downloads/uploads and distribution via Aconex or Project Centre
  • Controlling drawing registers and RFI registers
  • Maintaining project correspondence and document registers
  • Filing and document control (e.g., ITPs, SWMS, purchase orders, subcontractor data)
  • Ensuring quality control of office systems and documentation
  • Providing administrative support to project teams including foremen, supervisors, and project managers
  • Maintaining project logs, purchase order records, and invoice registers
  • Keeping employee registers for site staff
  • Data entry for production and labour controls
  • Assisting in the preparation of project manuals and "As Built" documentation
  • Recording and distributing meeting minutes
  • Liaising with client administrators, suppliers, and subcontractors

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High data entry speed and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in the construction or electrical industry (highly regarded)
  • AutoCAD experience (advantageous but not essential)

Location & Work Environment:

This role is primarily site-based, with occasional duties at our Eight Mile Plains office. Project locations vary depending on project needs.

Remuneration:

A competitive salary package will be negotiated with the successful candidate, based on experience and qualifications.
