About the Role:
This Administrative Support Officer role will provide high-quality administrative support to the General Manager – Home and Living Rural & Remote Western. You will work autonomously to manage relationships between the General Manager and key stakeholders, the community, and independently undertake or allocate tasks for resolution by other employees.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the General Manager
- Proactively support the programs leadership team to ensure key operational and compliance activities occur within the required timeframe
- Schedule, agenda, and minute key operational meetings, ensuring accountability to agreed actions
- Collect, collate, and enter monthly reporting data into the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission Provider portal
- Oversee Melba's internal NDIS workflow processes in Rural and Remote Western, ensuring all requirements are met by specified timeframes
- Maintain and track individuals' key NDIS information in the program, including plan and service agreement expiry dates
- Provide administrative assistance to all service delivery arms, including initial responses to feedback, complaints, and compliments
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration or a related discipline
- A comprehensive understanding of Executive Administration functions
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in the provision of support to an executive officer, preferably within the disability services sector or other not-for-profit service organization
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships
- Ability to work holistically, recognizing the value and contribution of all, mindful of cross-discipline appreciation and collaboration
- A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (we can support you through the process of obtaining one or both checks if you don't already have them)
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster
