We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse 2 to join our team at the New York State. As a Registered Nurse 2, you will work within a treatment team providing nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting patients' homes to identify factors contributing to their disability, making recommendations for care, suggesting alternative treatment plans, teaching caretakers/family members emergency procedures, and advising on medical, social, and housing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
  • Work within a treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Visit patients' homes to assess their needs and provide guidance to direct care staff/LPNs.
  • Act as a triage nurse, accepting calls from the six-county catchment area and providing nursing guidance as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
About the Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
