Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to schedule nursing department staff, complete and ensure the accuracy of schedules, post and fill schedule holes, schedule/assign staff for patient appointments, transports, and ensure proper staff and equipment are available based on patient needs and mode of transportation secured.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure and registration in New York State
- One year of permanent competitive or §55 b/c service as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Or one year of permanent competitive or §55 b/c service in a title approved for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law AND possess current licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in NYS
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
