We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse 2 to join our team in New York State. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community-based healthcare and be able to work effectively with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities and their families.

**Job Summary**

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of autonomy and decision-making skills. As a Registered Nurse 2, you will be responsible for providing nursing services to individuals in the community, including home visits, emergency care, and treatment planning. You will also work closely with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated care and support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide nursing services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities and their families
  • Conduct home visits to assess the individual's needs and develop treatment plans
  • Administer emergency treatment as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated care and support
  • Supervise and counsel paraprofessional and professional personnel in health-related activities

**Requirements:**

  • Licensed and currently a registered professional nurse in New York State
  • Two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience, including one year of experience providing direct services to individuals diagnosed with mental illness, developmental disabilities, addiction, or substance use disorders in a community setting
  • Substitution: a bachelor's degree in nursing may substitute for one year of general post-licensure clinical nursing experience; and a master's degree in nursing may substitute for two years of general post-licensure clinical nursing experience
  • Candidates must currently be a permanent Registered Nurse 2 or be eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
