About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a scheduling specialist. This role will involve coordinating nursing department staff, creating and managing schedules, and ensuring proper staffing and equipment are available for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling and assigning staff for patient appointments, transports, and other tasks
  • Managing the Voluntary OT Calendar and generating reports as needed
  • Conducting audits and updating lists, including staffing rosters and phone numbers
  • Coordinating classes and trainings for nursing department staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current license and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
  • One year of permanent competitive or §55 b/c service as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Working Environment

This role is based in New York State and requires a strong understanding of the state's healthcare system. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
