This role focuses on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in revenue growth. You will have access to our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, which allows customers to build anywhere—on the edge, on premises, or across cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & technical end users
  • Build strong relationships with clients to drive growth opportunities
  • Partner with Solution Architects and collaborate with Professional Services and Customer Success teams to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partner to maximize deal sizes
Requirements
  • 10+ years field experience with quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market, focusing on expanding new accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to sell into new lines of business within open accounts and manage complex sales processes
  • A proven track record of overachievement and consistently hitting sales targets
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Skilled in building business champions
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to attend the office 3 days per week
  • Driven and competitive individual with a strong desire to succeed
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
About the Opportunity

The estimated salary range for this position in Melbourne is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and performance. This figure reflects the company's commitment to compensating top talent accordingly.
