About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Strategist to join our Employee Experience and Wellbeing team. In this critical role, you'll play a key part in developing and implementing employee relations initiatives that drive positive outcomes for our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and support to the People & Culture team and the organisation on complex employee relations issues, including performance management, employment law, and workplace investigations;
  • Developing pragmatic solutions to complex queries, drawing upon detailed knowledge of employment legislation and operational priorities;
  • Representing the organisation at tribunals and other forums, such as the Fair Work Commission;
  • SUPPORTING THE NEGOTIATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ENTERPRISE AGREEMENTS;

This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • Experience in a legal environment or in an employee relations specialist role within a medium to large organisation;
  • Highly developed knowledge of employment legislation and ability to conduct legal research;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong case management experience and demonstrated ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources, or another related field.
