About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished ER specialist to support the delivery of our employee relations strategy and ensure that all employee issues are managed in a fair and equitable manner.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic and operational ER/IR leadership, leveraging their expertise in legislation, policies, and procedures to drive best practice employment relations practices and solutions.
This role involves leading enterprise bargaining processes on behalf of the business, managing union relationships to minimize disputes, and negotiating with senior management, staff, and external stakeholders towards best practice employment relations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead enterprise agreement negotiations, including preparing for, negotiating, and obtaining approval of agreements;
- Manage complex ER/IR issues, including discrimination, harassment, and bullying complaints through end-to-end case management;
- Negotiate with and influence senior management, staff, and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes;
- Provide written and oral advice to management regarding key policy, employment legislation issues, and emerging employment relations trends.
About You
We are looking for an accomplished ER specialist with experience in leading enterprise agreement negotiations, employment law, and contemporary industrial and employee relations. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, commercial acumen, critical thinking, resilience, and problem-solving abilities.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum + benefits.
