The Role
As a Manager of Employee Relations (Performance & Conduct), you will play a critical role in ensuring that our employees feel safe, supported and valued.
You will lead a team of ER professionals who provide technical expertise to line leaders on complex performance, conduct and employment-related grievances, including workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, dispute resolution, performance management and ill & injured employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to prevent and manage employee relations issues
- Provide evidence-based advice to senior leaders on employee relations matters
- Collaborate with HR sub-functions, Legal, Ethics & Investigations and other supporting functions to ensure a consistent and effective approach to employee relations
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with employee relations matters
About You
- You have significant experience in employee relations, preferably in a large organisation with multiple enterprise agreements and a large operational workforce
- You have a proven track record of leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams
- You have advanced stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities, with the ability to leverage internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels
- You have expertise in Australian industrial relations and employment legislation, and can provide up-to-date employee relations advice and information
